There are social stories to help you explain the period of self-isolation to your children and a basic story about what Corona Virus is. Under external sites, there are links out to various activity websites, some of which will need a user id and password which we have provided for you.
Supporting Children with LD & ASD with COVID Isolation – This is a really informative document which is well worth a read, a lot of the resources mentioned in this document, such as timetables now/next cards can be found in the links to the right of this page.
Sensory strategies for COVID 19 is a document written by our Sensory OT Helen Nunn and contains some ideas as to how to meet your child’s sensory processing needs during this time of upheaval.
We will do our utmost to support you all through this period and we hope that it won’t be long before a sense of normality resumes.
